In 2014 you can find Ridge Shipley playing point guard at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. This kid is one of those who always wants the big shot. His game winning 3-pointer against Cal State Northridge in the NcAA Tournament proved he can do so. That shot needed up as the biggest shot in the school’s history. Shipley stated,”It’s crazy to think about and such a blessing and such a great opportunity to have in my life and to be able to do that for this team and community.”

Just as the future Hall Of Famer Steve Nash played as an unknown little caucasian player up in northern California in a small school named Santa Clara, with some of the best handles ever seen. Ridgley may be on the same path as Nash once did. Besides, they both were unknown names in college and also both played in small colleges in northern California.
