There are many natural phenomena that truly do not look like they should exist. It’s amazing to see these kind of things that we only thought they existed on movies. From the red bloody sea to the fire tornados, all these images you see down below are 100% real. These images are jaw dropping and they will blow your mind.
1.) Glowing fungus is known as “foxfire” or fairy fire.”
2.) Red Tide: This phenomenon is commonly known as an algal bloom which can be found in coastal areas. In parts of Mexico this algae’s toxins will paralyze the nervous system of fish so they cannot breathe.
3.) Fire rainbows: Very rare rainbow occurs mostly during the summer where the clouds and the sun have to be in perfect precise position for it to occur.
4.) Crazy haboob dust storms: These storms occur throughout certain regions of the world due to a collapsed thunderstorm or a cold front that sweeps through the region.
5.) Weird shaped columnar basalt: It is a result of cooling and cracking of unusual thick lava flow.
6.) Mammatus “bubble” clouds: These bubble forming clouds usually only occurs when a tornadic storm or severe thunderstorm is approaching.
7.) Blue Holes: Is a cave or large underwater sinkhole and are mostly unfavorable to most seas life. They are also called vertical caves. The Great Blue Hole is located off the coast of Belize.
8.) Rainbow bark: Known as “Rainbow Gum” or “Mindanao Gum”, this tree will never have the same color pattern twice and is believed to have originated in the Philippines.
9.) Fire Tornadoes: Sometimes referred to as the “finger of God” is a normal tornado, now inject fire into it and it becomes a fire tornado. Imagine a wildfire and a tornado happening at the same time.
10.) Lenticular couds: These clouds are over Mount Olympus that forms this odd shape is often mentioned as an explanation for some UFO sightings.
11.) Christmas Island red crabs: Estimated each year 43 million of these land crabs migrate to lay their eggs in the ocean.
12.) This is not natural but too cool to leave out! A gas fire in Turkmenistan accidentally ignited by scientists in 1971 and still on fire.
13.) Oddly looking lightning and dark clouds look like an entrance to hell!
14.) Dirty volcanoes: Also known as volcanic lightning occur when lighting is produced in a volcanic plume.
15.) Vertical light pillars: Incredible vertical phenomenon appears when artificial light or natural light bounces off the facets of flat ice crystals that are close to the ground.
