I have seen many of the best young NBA players this past year and most don’t compare with this kid. If you have never heard or seen this kid play, please remember his name. Most of the time you will catch yourself gawking and staring in awe watching this kid. He was 6’9″ when he was drafted in the 2013 NBA Draft and since then he has grown to 6’11” gaining twenty seven pounds in the past year. It is just madly ridiculous watching soon to be named the Largest point guard in the NBA at almost seven feet tall. Watch how it takes him only a few strides from half court to dunk a basketball. This kid will be great! See for yourself.

Yes, Giannis Antetokounmpo from the Milwaukee bucks is ridiculous! Yes indeed, he has the potential to be the next Kobe Bryant. He was drafted number 15th overall by the Bucks in the 2013 draft. Watching him warm up is even so entertaining. He is so entertaining he is one of the players you need to see in person to really see his worth. While being drafted last year most considered him to be too raw and definitely would need at least two years to develop. Right now it seems to be only taking one year, as Giannis is already a breakout star in this year’s Las Vegas Summer League.
This young man has insane physical tools but was too raw his first year in the NBA to make them useful. He was more of a threat on the perimeter or in transition after a play had broken down displaying insane dunks like The Best Dunker in the world Kenny Dobbs. Since joining the Summer League this year it has helped him tremendously in speeding up his maturity process. So everyone is wondering on whether he really will play the point guard position. Oh yeah, his new coach is currently future Hall Of Famer Jason Kidd as well. Kidd said,”We have seen it in practice, and so when you see a player’s comfort level with the ball no matter the size, we want to see it in game action. We slowly have started letting him have the ball and run the offense.”
The Milwaukee Bucks are realizing the best way to utilize their best talented player is by putting the ball in his hands more often. So playing point guard is looking like the best scenario. Watching all of his highlight reels makes you realize why his nickname is the “Greek Freak.” His nickname originated from starting his professional career in Greece even though he is Nigerian descent. Wherever he is from, this kid I predict will be the real deal. We’ll have to wait and see.
