It is extremely hard in determining a basketball owner in taking quite an investment on an athlete they are unsure on. Andrew Christian Wiggins was born on February 23, 1995 who is a Canadian basketball player who was the number one overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. Wiggins played for the University Of Kansas was the second  ever Canadian basketball player taken number one in the NBA Draft. The first Canadian basketball player who was taken number one overall was Anthony Bennett taken #1 overall in the NBA 2013 draft. Bennett has not panned out yet for being selected #1 overall pick thus far.

Wiggins size and athleticism draws comparison to former NBA All Star Tracy McGrady. Wiggins was born in Toronto, Canada to his father who was a former NBA player Mitchell Wiggins and his mother a former Olympic track star Marita Payne-Wiggins. Now we all know why he was blessed with his ridiculous athletic abilities. We have yet to come to see if the basketball phenom exceeds his expectations, but we know one thing…It won’t be because of his basketball talent if he does not pan out. Even though I’m rooting for him.
